Bad news for young Americans struggling to find work

The US job market overall remains on solid footing, with unemployment at a low 4.1% as employers continue to add jobs at a brisk pace.

But it has slowed steadily over the past two years, normalizing from the heydays of 2022 when there were a record 12.2 million openings.
