What I wish someone told me before becoming a digital nomad

When people hear my story of working around the world, they almost always tell me that they’d too love to leave the confines of their current life and work remotely. Usually they mention that shaded canopy on a pristine-white sandy beach in Thailand they have their eye on. And (usually) I nod and lightly encourage it, but lately, I’ve started to have reservations about the way we talk about digital nomads. And it’s time I came clean.
