Mysterium Network is the world’s first decentralized VPN incentivised with cryptocurrency. We have been in development for the last two years, focused on building a global node network, upgrading NAT traversal mechanics within our node software, and organically growing our user bases in emerging markets.

Roles and responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the overall development life cycle
  • Work with Head of Product in developing a strategy and road map of Mysterium Network node & client side applications
  • Supporting the Head of product, taking ownership of refining and managing the product backlog
  • Work closely with engineering team to develop the best technical design and approach for each of Mysterium Network’s products’ development
  • Instill best practices for software development and documentation, assure designs meet requirements, and deliver high-quality work on tight schedules
  • Project management – prioritization, planning of epics and features, stakeholder management and tracking of team commitments and delivery
  • As a problem solver, you eliminate conflicts, assist your team in developing appropriate solution strategies, and manage stakeholder expectations
  • Oversee user testing and report results—adjust requirements as needed
  • Review all work produced by the development team ensuring quality assurance
  • Ensure code produced meets company standards

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent combination of technical education and work experience
  • 5+ years of Software Development experience
  • 3+ years of experience in building and leading engineering teams
  • Hands-on technical expertise in either distributed systems, microservices, devops, networking or crypto/blockchain
  • Solid software development background including design patterns, data structures, test driven development
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience managing a team of more than 5 engineers
  • Very good organizational skills
  • Fluent in English
  • Ability to interact comfortably with Mysterium.network community of exit node runners, third party developers & our technology users
